Updated October 14, 2026. The SPNDL launch list is operated by John Gearheart.
Joining the launch list
We store your email, any completed design you choose to attach, optional music service, signup location, consent version and signup date. You can join without choosing a product. We use this information to plan the first batch and send occasional product and launch updates. A design record may include an internal planning estimate; it is not a selling price. Joining does not reserve stock, place an order or authorize payment.
New signup records are stored privately in Google Firebase/Cloud Firestore. Google processes this data to provide hosting and database services. Records are not publicly listed or sold. The previous host had no signup records at migration.
Optional website analytics
Google Analytics measures visits and traffic sources, approximate location, device/browser categories, section engagement, videos, product-builder choices, signup outcomes and loading performance. Cookies can distinguish visits and help us understand which features people explore. We do not send your email, typed form contents, private unsubscribe token, full referring-page URL or personal account identifier to Analytics. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. No session-replay recordings or keystroke logging are installed.
For visitors identified as being in the United States, analytics starts by default unless you opt out. Elsewhere, or when the region is uncertain, we ask before starting analytics. We use an approximate country lookup on our own server to choose this behavior, without sending your IP address to a separate geolocation service. IP Geolocation by DB-IP. Turning analytics off does not affect signup or the product builder. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to six months. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics off. You can turn analytics off below; that stops new analytics events and removes this site’s Analytics cookies. It does not remove already aggregated reports.
Google’s collection is described in its privacy policy. This site sends only cleaned campaign tags and strips query strings and fragments from analytics page addresses.
Leaving the list
After your first successful signup, save the private removal link shown on screen. Opening it and choosing “Leave the list” deletes your signup record. Keep that link private. No analytics code runs on the removal page.
No confirmation email is sent automatically yet. The success screen confirms your signup. Future launch emails must include an unsubscribe link. A public support contact is still being established.
Retention
Analytics event and user data are retained for 14 months, without resetting the retention period on new activity; aggregated reports may be retained longer. Analytics cookies and your browser preference last up to six months.
We keep your signup while the launch list is active or until you remove it. If the launch is canceled, the list will be deleted after the final update. Future orders will require separate retention terms. Hosting providers also keep operational logs to deliver and protect the service.
